Undergrad Wins NASA Internship

Krista Lee just sent the following to Kathy Davis, our Undergraduate Adviser: “After graduating with a B.A. in Geography and a minor in Earth Sciences, I will immediately start in the NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) DEVELOP Program. During the ten-week program, I will be working on a Remote Sensing project that pertains directly to the western United States. With my team, I will write a formal journal article as well as create a poster and put together a presentation discussing our research. Once that wraps up in late August, I have a two-week vacation before moving to Monterey to begin working at the Naval Postgraduate School. I will be conducting basic Remote Sensing research, working with spectral data sets, and new data types the school is starting to develop. As I settle in, I will start to prepare for the Master’s degree program in Remote Sensing.” Best wishes and kudos to Krista!
