UCSB Geography Graphics Get a Facelift

Last Friday, Consuelo Rivera, Geography’s Undergraduate Assistant, asked everyone in the Department to choose their favorite graphics for use as Geography posters to be displayed in our classrooms. The choice was among a selection of terrific new graphics which were designed by Ian Barin. As Consuelo puts it, “The results are in, and (drum-roll sound) the winner is…Image 23 – and Images 6, 8, and 20 tied for second place.”

Ian Barin is currently employed as a Senior Artist to create illustrations and digital artwork, graphics, logos, and videos for Geography and UCSB Sustainability. He independently handles conception, design, costing, printing, and publishing of projects. Ian works remotely on these projects as he travels the world as a freelance multimedia designer.
