Two UCSB Geography students did extremely well in the AAG Geography Bowl competition at the recent conference in Los Angeles. Jeff Onsted placed 4th and Steve Demers placed 6th out of 55 competitors from all over the country. Jeff is a graduate student at UCSB; Steve is an undergraduate. He was also one of the few (five or six) undergrads who participated in the Geography Bowl. Three cheers to two wonderful and well-deserving young men!
