Rui Zhu wins Best Paper at AGILE2017

Geography PhD Student, Rui Zhu’s paper, submitted to the 20th International Conference of Geo-information Science (AGILE2017) in Wageningen, Netherlands was selected as the Best Full Paper.  In the paper, Rui and coauthors Professor Phaedon  Kyriakidis and Professor Krzysztof Janowicz, propose a new geographic conceptualization named the “Geo-multipole”, which explores the higher-order spatial interactions. Under the framework of the Geo-multipole, multiple-point (geo) statistics (MPS) were investigated for studying complex spatial patterns of urban structures. Congratulations to Rui!
