Rick Church Gives Presidential Plenary Talk at 2015 NARSC Meeting


News Flash:

On November 12, 2015, UCSB Geography Professor Rick Church gave the Presidential Plenary talk at the 62nd Annual North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association International (NARSC) in Portland, OR. The title of his talk was “Tobler’s Law and Spatial Optimization,” explaining how principles of Tobler’s First Law of Geography could be used to improve the formulation of models for spatial optimization.
