Phishing and Fishing

An interest in knowing where things are, why they got there, and how they work is an apt description of Kai Lu’s approach to Geography’s computer needs—as well as to fishing—and Kai is a “natural” when it comes to both. Our new Computer Network Technologist is self-taught, but he’s making a name for himself in both fields. Under the tutelage of Mark Probert, our Information Systems Manager, Kai has tackled our computing problems with enthusiasm and a refreshing willingness to try to explain both the problems and the solutions.

A self-described amateur, Kai has also proved himself adept at his favorite hobby, fishing. He’s caught some big time fish, including the 32 pound White Seabass featured in his photo. Kai’s enthusiasm, expertise, and energy are welcome, and we’re fortunate to have him aboard. We wish him “tight lines” and hope his success in rod and reel fishing will be directly proportional to his success in preventing computer phishing!
