Nick Gazulis, who recently finished his Master’s degree here in the Geography Department, married Maren Gates on Saturday July 29, 2006. The wedding took place in Tiburon just across the Golden Gate from San Francisco. Some tears of joy were shed, the reception was a lot of fun, and then the newly weds sailed off into the night. They are now flying away for a European honeymoon.
When Mr. and Mrs. Gazulis return to the US, they will be moving to Washington D.C. where Mr. Gazulis has a government job and Mrs. Gazulis will be teaching elementary school. We’ll miss having Nick in the department but wish him and his bride all the best in their new careers.
