Meet Our New Web Site Intern, Frank Garcia

Frank Garcia recently became one of our new Undergraduate Assistants, and his internship duties will include assisting with our web site design and maintenance, updating our bulletin boards, and photographing Department events. Frank is a fourth year Geography major and is particularly interested in Physical Geography, literally and figuratively—he’s climbed the Matterhorn, backpacked through Italy, surfed in Australia, bungee jumped in New Zealand, and traveled extensively throughout Mexico.

Frank has designed several web sites and comments that he likes “designing and thinking outside the box.” Not only is Frank’s work ethic admirable, but his love for visualizing the world via maps, his skill at web design, and his ambition, dedication, and eagerness to accept a challenge makes him a valuable addition to the department: “I know expectations are high, insofar as Maral Tashjian excelled in this position during the last two years. I’m looking forward to contributing my sense of style, flavor, and creativity to the Department in every way I can.” We’re lucky to have Frank on our team, and we look forward to working with him–assuming we can keep up with him!
