Keith Clarke has been appointed to the National Academy of Science’s Mapping Science Committee. The committee comprises scientists in academia and industry who advise federal agencies on scientific and technical matters related to spatial data handling and analysis or computer-produced maps. Mike Goodchild has also served on the committee, and is the past committee chair.
