Karen Kline receives award from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, 2004-2005


Karen Kline received one of approximately 60 fellowships awarded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science for 2004-2005. This program was established to foster scientific relationships between Japanese research institutes and researchers in North America and Western Europe. Applicants to the program must be nominated by the host Japanese agency. She will begin a 6 month residency at the Geographical Survey Institute of Japan in January 2005.
