Professor Kostas Goulias is the Chair of the 2007 TRANSTEC Conference to be held at the Czech Technical University in Prague September 13-15, 2007. The conference will highlight research and technology in human-machine interaction, advanced systems for transport operations, and transportation modeling and simulation. Emphasis will be on the science, engineering, and technology of transportation and automotive systems. As in TRANSTEC Athens 2004, real world solutions to real world problems with real world examples will be emphasized. The conference organizers aim at providing practical information and hands-on experiences that can solve transportation challenges and that will attract an audience including private entrepreneurs, government officials, and academics who can exchange ideas and build cross-national collaborations.
