James Marston, who received a doctorate from UCSB Geography last year and is now a post-graduate researcher here, was awarded the UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship, which will begin July 1, 2003, His mentor is Prof. Rick Church. The title of his proposal is “Identification and Mitigation of Physical Barriers that Limit Access to Education for People with Various Mobility Limitations: Improving an Environment with Improved Methods of Information Delivery.” Congratulations, Jim!
