Professor Mike Goodchild, who received the Royal Geographical Society’s Founder’s Medal, was celebrated just before Colloquium by the Geography Department and specially invited visiting dignitaries. Hennings Cake Boutique prepared a special cake that was iced with a photo reproduction of one side of the solid gold coin that is the actual medal.
