Deanna Cervantes loves to travel, loves to shop, and has a background in banking—all ideal qualifications for a Staff Purchasing and Travel Coordinator! Technically, Deanna is our new Administrative Assistant in charge of purchasing, expediting travel, petty cash, recharges, shipping/receiving, equipment inventory, copier codes/service, mail distribution, and staff support for the Ocean Physics Laboratory.
Deanna grew up in Santa Barbara, and she and her husband Cory have two beautiful children, Zyrus and Makeila, aged 6 and 1 ½ respectively. Please make a point of stopping by, introducing yourself, and giving Deanna a warm welcome to the Department!
