The Department pingpong tournament was a great success, ending March 11 with the semifinalist and finalist games. QC Zhang, a researcher with ICESS, was the winner, and JC Shi, also a researcher with ICESS, was the runner-up. Thirty-seven geographers played in a series of five sets.
