I am writing to invite you to the 14th Annual University of California Transportation Center Student Conference, which will be held at UCSB, in Santa Barbara, CA from Thursday January 31st through Saturday February 2nd, 2008. Please pass this message on to your students and colleagues who might be interested in attending the conference. For registration and venue information, see the conference web site at http://www.geotrans.geog.ucsb.edu .

Our Mel Webber speaker this year is Dr. Mei-Po Kwan, Professor at the Ohio State University Department of Geography. She will speak at our dinner event on Friday, February 1st at the UCSB Corwin Pavilion. I sincerely hope that many of you will be able to attend. It will be a very interesting conference and a great opportunity for students and professionals alike to network and learn more about the wide field of transportation research currently being conducted.
